The garden is a private place of retreat and for recreation. Manifold trees, shrubs and borders provide a setting for recuperation, recreational fun and parties on extended summer evenings.
I’m a great fan of the informal appeal of modern cottage gardens and its abundance of different flowers, foliage, scents and wildlife. I love growing our own herbs, fruit and vegetables and preparing delicious meals with them.
